IPAS House Rules, Procedures & Protocols
The IPAS House Rules are a set of rules in place to ensure the safety of all IPAS residents. You will be provided with the IPAS House Rules when you arrive at an IPAS accommodation centre and by residing in accommodation provided by IPAS you are agreeing to abide by these House Rules. Centres are required to treat residents with respect, and residents are expected to treat other residents, centre staff and other people present in IPAS accommodation Centres with respect.
The IPAS House Rules outline the rules which include obeying Irish law, respect for health and safety policies within the centre and child protection measures. The IPAS House Rules also outline the procedure for breaches of House Rules and the complaints process for residents.
Centre managers are responsible for ensuring compliance with the rules and breaches of IPAS House Rules are required to be submitted to IPAS and, where appropriate, An Garda Síochána (the Irish police) and Tusla, the Child and Family Agency.
